Why does everything keep BREAKING?

Hello again! It's now Thursday in my Sim's world and time to find out how Teya and Deyton are feeling after their night of binge drinking...

Oh, they are still asleep... It's ten o'clock in the morning you lazy sims!! Guess they will have sore heads when they wake up.

When they have finally dragged themselves out of bed, Deyton goes to use the toilet and it begins to emit strange noises, resulting in him bashing it and exclaiming "First the TV and now this?!? Why does everything keep BREAKING!?!". He then realises that Teya might not remember the broken TV as she was plastered last night!

With that, Teya leaves for work where she wants to meet the rest of her cast members and maybe get a promotion. More friends, more opportunity right?

When Teya has left for work Deyton goes out to get the mail, he finds a bill which he pays leaving them with $463 and the Vampire's Eye has come back from the Gem Cutter's and it is now worth $321!! He immediately sells this and analyses the Space rock that he found yesterday. He finds out that the unassuming rock is actually worth $131, so he sells this too bringing their bank up to a healthy $915!! He is making money after all! He decides to sell the stupid seed that he has been carrying around with him for $17 and now they are at $932.

Deyton decides to call Wayne Bumble as this is the only person he has met so far and they have a nice conversation which starts with "So, I'm the guy you met in the park... remember me?". Fortunately Wayne does remember meeting him and they chat for a while. While Teya is at work she is informed that the usual caterers haven't turned up today and they had to get an emergency caterer instead, needless to say the whole staff get food poisoning! This is not good on top of a hangover! Teya gets an invite to a Tom Wordy's party, who she has never met and since she feels like a piece of crap she doesn't find it likely that she will be attending! She does meet an Emmy Starr at work when she goes into the lady's, where they proceed to throw up together!

Meanwhile back at home there is a timid knock at the door and who does Deyton find but Elspeth from next door. He explains that Teya is at work so maybe she could come back later? But Elspeth barges her way in, not put off that Deyton is standing there in his underwear!

When Elspeth realises that their TV is broken she goes into a hissy fit and starts ranting about the state of the economy!

Deyton chats to her for a while and he finds out that she is more mature than she seems at first glance. She moans to him about how her parents are never in and no one her age understands her, she just wanted to come and chat with Teya but Deyton will do just fine! Deyton laughs nervously and tells her she can stay for as long as she likes as long as she doesn't mind him getting on with the chores...

First on his list is fixing that gargling monstrosity! While he is banging around with the plumbing, Elspeth is talking to Bumble, it seems she likes him!!

Teya leaves work and earns $149, as she is leaving she spots a 5 star Celebrity!! She would have gone and tried to say hi, but the Production Manager catches up with her and announces that she has been promoted to Key Grip! He mentions something about Emmy Starr and sickness but she doesn't quite catch what he says... She also gets another bonus of $300 which takes them up to a nice £1,381!!

When Teya gets home, Deyton is in the middle of trying to fix the TV! Teya seems distracted though and heads straight into the kitchen for some food, not even bothering to say hi to Elspeth who is still prattling on to the rat!

Deyton decides to ask Elspeth to leave after fixing the TV and gaining a skill in handyness! He tries to ask Teya what's up but she just says that she isn't feeling very well and they get off to bed.
