That Awkward Moment...

Very early Sunday Morning Teya wakes up with stabbing pains in her stomach!! Looks like the baby is coming!!!

Teya doesn't know where Deyton has got to, but she calmly gets ready for her trip to the hospital...

She takes a taxi, all the while frantically ringing Deyton to tell him she's about to give birth!

She finally gets to the hospital, but there is no sign of Deyton! By this point, Teya is in so much agony she can't even think straight when the nurse asks her if she would like to ring any family members for her!

After only two short hours of labour, Teya gives birth to a bouncing baby boy!! She decides to call him Luke (thanks to my cousin for the baby name!) and he is born with the Clumsy trait and the Absent Minded trait. Teya is thrilled with her little bundle of joy but feels very alone...

When Teya gets home with the new arrival she finds Deyton asleep on the sofa. It's probably for the best, she thinks, because she is way too tired to argue right now!

Teya purchases a crib for baby Luke and puts him down to bed. At this point Teya and Deyton's bank account is at $927 and Teya is a little worried about this.

But she can't really do anything about that right now, we might have to sell the car... she thinks as she falls into bed sore and exhausted.

Deyton is awoken early by Bumble's incessant noises!!

Teya would have liked a sleep in but Luke needed to be fed.

As Teya is doing the dishes, Deyton walks in looking a bit sheepish...

Teya spots him and gets ready for all hell to break loose!!!

"Where the hell were you!!" She starts off with. "You do realise that I gave birth to your son last night and you were off god knows where!! I am so angry with you!" Teya is letting out all of her frustrations on Deyton...

...When Deyton comes back at her: "You know I have commitment issues! And my time alone yesterday made me realise that I'm not ready for a family. I'm not ready for this!" He comes back as angrily as Teya.

"I feel like I'm being forced into this life that I just don't want! So, I'm sorry but we are going to have to break up ..."

Deyton's outburst has shocked Teya immensely! She was angry at him, but he was her first love and she can't believe that he feels this way! Then comes that awkward moment...

When neither of them wants to move out! "Well I'm not going anywhere!" says Teya. "Me neither." States Deyton. There is an awkward silence as they both stand there defiantly.

After a while Teya gets fed up with the lack of conversation and heads off to bed as she didn't get a good night's sleep.

While Teya is sleeping, Deyton makes some changes to the house... He sells their car for $570 and the parking space for $90 and the garage door. This takes their bank up to $1947. Next, he builds a new wall in the garage and converts it into two bedrooms. He buys a single bed for himself and is left with $590. He feels a bit down about not having the big bedroom for himself, but snuggles up under his new covers and goes back to sleep.

Teya wakes up a short time later and the events from this morning hit her hard! She remembers all the good times that they had together before they moved to the City and she just can't get her head around the fact that they aren't together any more!

After changing and feeding baby Luke, Teya goes to see what all the banging was about earlier. She finds their garage converted and Deyton asleep in his new 'room'. She is hurt that he has built himself a new bedroom to get away from her!

She walks back into her bedroom feeling miserable.

She has a little cry about their break up...

... and decides to decorate her own bedroom to make it her own. This makes her feel slightly better but she is still really hurt from Deyton dumping her the day after their baby is born! Left Alone...

Hello there welcome back to my Sims3 Blog, lets see what going on today...

Teya gets up earlier than Deyton today and decides that it's her turn for a lazy day.

He back is killing her with the pregnancy and she deserves a sit down.

Deyton wakes up and eats breakfast alone. He really doesn't want to talk to Teya because he doesn't even know what's going on in his own head!

He decides to go out and clear his head, leaving Teya alone to chill out and watch TV.

He goes next door to see if Elspeth is in, since she is the only person he has really spoken to in this City.

He gets invited inside the large house where Elspeth's father tells Deyton that she isn't it...

He leaves feeling down, he just wants someone to talk to about how he is feeling! He gives Elspeth a call and asks to meet up.

Deyton makes his way to the park to wait for Eslpeth... But she doesnt turn up!

He doesn't dwell on it too long though because he finds some swings!! Deyton has the childish trait so swinging is really fun for him! Meanwhile back at home...

Teya has got around to doing some housework. Even though she is mad at Deyton, she wishes he would come home and help her with the chores!

Teya even manages to hang all of the washing up on the line with her huge bump in the way.

Teya sees an ice-cream van pull up and fancies a sticky, sweet treat!

Mmmmm, tasty!

After spending the day at the park, Deyton still doesn't want to go home! He bumps into Wayne Bumble and asks if he wants to go out for a drink and a manly chat. Wayne doesn't know Deyton that well, so he makes some excuse and takes off.

Deyton ends up going to Eugi's bar on his own.

Teya is getting more and more annoyed by this time as it is getting late. She tries to ring Deyton but he doesn't answer his phone. She then rings her best friend Alan - from work and asks him to come round and keep her company.

Alan comes round and they watch some TV together and have a chat...

At the bar, Deyton is enjoying himself...

It's probably because Elspeth turned up!

Deyton has a really good shouted conversation over the blasting music and finds himself liking Elspeth more and more as the night goes on.

Deyton goes to order some food and realises that the hot barmaid is here!

It's while Deyton is eating some bar food and chatting to two hot females that he realises he isn't ready for a long term relationship! He doesn't want to be a father yet! He feels that he is way too young for the responsiblilty!!

Back at home Teya is reassured by Alan and she is really glad of his company! Alan is the first person to actually be excited about the baby! Teya is annoyed at Deyton and his childish behaviour and can't wait for him to get home so she can rip him a new one!

But it's getting really late now and Teya is tired, so she goes to bed alone...

While Deyton is living it up at the bar...

I thought it was food poisoning!

Hello again, it's very early in the morning on a friday, which will be the 6th day of living with my Sims...

Teya woke up the middle of the night feeling very ill and she put it down to her food poisoning from work, she threw up and went back to bed...

...but she woke up yet again with a sore stomach, and realised she was pregnant! (I don't know how Sims can tell really, they just suddenly know!) Hmm, wonder how this is going to go with Deyton... Teya goes back to bed a little nervous but excited! (She has the family oriented trait so she does want kids!!)

After a good night's sleep Deyton wakes up and attempts to cook Waffles again (he burnt them last time!).

But he doesn't get a chance to finish cooking them before Teya enters the kitchen and and tells Deyton the big news.

Oh dear, it doesn't look like he's taking it well...Deyton can't believe she was stupid enough to get pregnant, but Teya explains that it must have happened during their drunken fumble! Plus, everyone at work had food poisoning, so how was she to know it was actually morning sickness??

Deyton seems very shocked and keeps repeating "I can't believe it!" over and over. Teya is upset and angry that his first reaction isn't what she hoped. They argue about their lack of money for a while, but Teya has had enough!

Talk to the hand! Teya thinks that she better call work and tell them the news.

She is a little nervous, after all she hasn't been in the job that long! But her fears are put to rest when she speaks with Reuben Littler and he tells her to take 4 days maternity leave, but to make sure that she still goes ahead and films the interview (opportunity).

Teya feels relieved but still doesn't want to talk to Deyton, and he's burnt the waffles again, no surprise! She goes off to get ready to film the interview, she might as well do it today since she won't be going into work.

Teya sets out for the business complex while Deyton slumps himself in front of the TV again!

He starts watching the cooking channel as he wants to gain a level after repeatedly burning the waffles.

Teya strides confidently towards the business complex, ready for the big interview. Whilst she is inside doing the opportunity Deyton gains a level in cooking skill and Teya gets paid $180 for personal time off.

Teya completes her opportunity receiving $300 and increased career performance. It turns out that the interview was about a Celebrity's foot odor problem! Their bank balance is now $1850 which is looking pretty good, but they still have a long way to go. Teya suddenly has the urge to buy something worth $250!

When Teya returns home she finds Deyton still slumped in front of the TV. This annoys her immensely, so she storms off into the house and proceeds to buy a washing machine...

...and a clothes line.

Deyton might think that she hasn't noticed the huge pile of dirty laundry gathering, but she has and wants to do something about it!

The new washing machine will come in handy with a baby being around, she thinks and then realises that she really does want this baby but not only that... She wants a girl!

As soon as she has put a load of laundry in the washer, Deyton starts another argument with her asking why the hell she has just bought a load of new things?? And what good is a new washing machine when they have a baby on the way??

Teya can't believe that he is starting an argument with her again, especially when he has been sitting on his ass all day and she has been out earning money for them! Deyton looks downcast, scared and confused, he really doesn't know what to think anymore! So he storms off to watch TV again and leaves Teya to cook the tea, while silently fuming.

After they have eaten their Mac N Cheese, mmmm tasty! They both head off to bed, not talking to each other and fall to into a restless sleep dreaming of how things could have gone differently...

Oh dear, looks like things aren't going too well for my couple but don't feel too bad because we have a baby on the way and that's always something to look forward to!
