Generation Two!!

Hello there!! We are now into generation two of the Silver family and Lucy has a brand new house paid for by her mother, Teya...

This is the house that was bought for her.

Now a few things have changed since my last post, for one; Lucy has moved to Starlight Shores!!

This was mainly because my game was running so slowly in Bridgeport for some reason, I thought it best to switch towns and see if that helped... It did!! My game is running smoothly now!

So just to recap on Lucy's traits I have made a list:

Virtuoso - to help with her singing

Charismatic - to help her get along with her fans

Heavy Sleeper

Diva

Family Oriented - she has to have five kids for god's sake!

...Which reminds me I should remind you all about the challenge rules for this generation:

Family Structure: Couple

Children: Five!! (Still can't believe this!)

Career: Vocalist

Secondary Career: Fishersim (I re-rolled this because I moved from Bridgeport and you get one free roll anyway!)

Generation Goal: Photogenic - Five photos of Lucy have already been taken and displayed so I'm just going to try and paint her partner and kids to complete this goal

Misc Fun (I think fun is an overstatement...) Homemade - this means that all meals must be homemade and all vegetables grown, all fishes fished etc. Meat and cheese can be purchased from the grocery store.

So... Just a few more things before we get into it again: Lifetime Wish is Vocal Legend, Lucy has moved to Starlight shores with Lvl 2 Charisma and Lvl 4 Painting skills. She has previously purchased the Observant and Engaging Lifetime Rewards...

It is now Summer in Starlight Shores so she has escaped the winter for now, lets see what's happening then...

Lucy is overjoyed to finally be out on her own!!!! She jumps on her scooter and heads straight to the shops!

Lucy decides to pick up some new clothes for her new life in Starlight Shores, and it is Summer after all!

When she gets home, she decides to put on her new outfit right away!

Very nice! Lucy even chose the wallpaper!

This house has a lovely view from the back, but after all the furniture has been paid for she only has £115 left over!! Oh dear... I guess Lucy will have to grow up a bit now and start looking after herself!

She decides to pay her neighbours a visit!

Lucy meets Nathan Bowers, her next-door-neighbour and they instantly hit it off!

Lucy thinks that Nathan is a real hottie!

He even invites her inside for a chat!! 

She leaves Nathan's house feeling great! She has met a hot new neighbour today and things are looking good     !! Now all she needs to do is find a job!

Two Birthdays

Hello and welcome back to my blog!  This will be my last post with Teya as the main character because Lucy, the heir, is taking over after this! Exciting! Let's see what's happening!

Lucy is being as vain as ever! She really wants to become a singer but she has never got up in front of a crowd before...

...But tonight she hopes to remedy that by heading out to a Karaoke bar!

So, here she is!

Lucy just watches the other singers at first...

...But she can't resist having a go herself! Great!

She really gets into it - this is the moment where she realises that this is what she wants to do for the rest of her life! Lucy's lifetime wish is prompted to be a Vocal Legend and she accepts!!

...Meanwhile, back at home Teya's birthday has come along and she hasn't made a fuss. She doesn't mind really as she is getting older and doesn't like pounding music anymore!

The next day Teya and Devin are discussing Lucy's birthday present as it is her 18th birthday today!! That came around fast!

Since Teya has aged up into an elder Sim, she decides to retire as she was finding the pace a bit hard to handle. She feels ok about this though as she is a 5 star Celebrity and has won numerous awards for her contributions to movie making!

Lucy walks into the living room just as Teya has told her boss she is retiring and demands her birthday cake! 

Teya's face says it all!

But eventually, Lucy gets her birthday cake and the moment she has been waiting for is finally here...

...Her 18th birthday!

She has been hard to deal with sometimes, but her parent's love her to bits!

After eating some birthday cake, she hunts down Teya and Devin to ask what her present is...

"So what's my present mom?!?!" Lucy can barely contain herself!

"Well, me and your father are going to buy you a house! It can be anywhere you want it to be, it's your choice!" Says Teya.

"Oh thank you mom! That is so cool! My very own house!" Lucy can't believe her luck - personally I think she is a bit spoilt, but what are you gonna do?

"And thank you too Dad!! I can't wait to move out!"

"Oh thanks!" Says Devin humorously.

Getting Older

Welcome back! Last night was Prom night for Lucy and she has a new picture to commemorate the event...

...Looks like it was fun!

Lucy has also had a new laptop and desk for her bedroom! What a spoilt child!

"Thanks mom!" Lucy says to Teya in the morning. "Can we do some more driving today, please?".

"Ok honey, we can go later tonight."

Lucy spends all day sitting at her new desk, even eating her breakfast there!

Later on in the day she asks Teya to take her driving again...

...and they head out. Lucy finally gets her driver's license!!

Lucy has a new present waiting for her in the morning! A pink scooter!!

She doesn't hesitate to have a ride on her shiny new toy!!

Oh dear!! Looks like the washing machine has broken!!

Devin takes care of it!

Teya is still working hard in her Assistant Directing career...

...and it's Devin's birthday today!

Lucy spends some time with her brother Luke.

Generation One Challenge: Completed

Welcome back to my Sims 3 Blog, in this post the Generation Goal gets completed which was Property Mogul - buy or be partner to 3 businesses. Just thought I would give you all a refresh...

Anyway, Teya is working hard on her writing skills for the Directing career, but she was never that good at writing anyway and it's getting harder and harder to get a promotion!! She has accumulated a lot of cash recently, so she decides to buy a property. She purchases Performance Park for 21,000 Simoleons and by doing that completes her Generation goal!! Wahey!!

While she's at it, she decides to check out the other businesses that she is partnered to, the Flying V's Coffee house and the diner. Teya has to upgrade her new park quite a bit before it can open for business, but she takes care of it and also renames it Silver Park (after the family name).

Meanwhile, Lucy works on her Charisma as she thinks this will help her to make new friends in High School.

Teya and Devin are always at work because of their demanding careers, so they love spending as much time together as they can!

Autumn's finally here, and it's Lucy's first day of High School!

And she get's soaked as soon as she steps out of the front door!

While Lucy is at school, Teya uploads some pictures that she has taken into the digital photo frames. There are 3 pictures of Lucy so far (the photogenic challenge is already getting completed and the new heir hasn't even taken over yet!) and a few pictures of their holiday to go in Teya and Devin's bedroom!

Lucy is back from school and doing her homework...

"So how did it go at School today?" Devin asks his daughter.

"Urgh, it was ok I suppose, but there's a Prom on Tuesday night and I don't know anyone yet!" She exasperates.

"Well, just because there's a Prom, doesn't mean you have to get a date... With a boy... In fact you shouldn't even be thinking about boys yet!" Devin is getting tongue tied!

"Ew! As if!" She squeals and gets back to her homework.

Well, the next day the weather isn't any better but Lucy goes off to school hoping to make at least one new friend before the Prom!!

Teya's hard work finally pays off and she gets promoted to Assistant Director!! Nice new outfit to wear to work and an award for her contributions to some of the highest grossing film to be made in the last four years!!

It's a Green Orb award, and a new side table is needed to display the award in the living room!

How dark is it today? It is actually the middle of the day, and guess what? It's Prom night!! Lucy has been on a field trip to the local Restaurant today and hopes she has made an impression on the other teenagers.

Well, with no more time left to get a date or make a friend, Lucy gets dressed for the Prom and makes her way to the Limo that was hired for her big night!

And all the parents can do is sit back and wait to hear about the night when she gets back... Read my next post to hear how it went!
