It's A Girl!

Welcome back to my blog! Thanks to everyone who is reading and remember to keep updated by following my blog for all the latest posts!! So it's the day after the Prom and Luke isn't in a talkative mood...

...He hasn't even mentioned anything about his Mom walking around in maternity clothes, let alone the extra weight she is carrying! Teenagers!

Devin takes some time to read a parenting book since he has no experience with babies, while Teya is learning some new recipes to make mealtimes more exciting. Luke is playing a game on the PC, ignoring both Teya and Devin's comments about last night. Eventually, he goes off to his room in a sulk.

After learning all he can about babies, Devin turns on the TV to catch a romantic movie he has been wanting to watch and he and Teya just chill out and watch the movie together.

They are both a bit emotional at the end of the movie, for Teya it's expected because of the hormones, but what's Devin's excuse?

While they are having a movie marathon, Luke is in the kitchen ringing up his infamous crush. He really won't give up on this girl!! And she finally agrees to meet up with him!!

Teya has really taken a liking to watermelon during this pregnancy, and neither of them notice Luke sneaking out to meet the mystery girl!

Luke gets to the park and waits expectantly...

"Seraphina." Luke says nonchalantly and sidles up close to his crush. She really is older than him, and taller!

"Why do you keep calling me?" She asks, annoyed.

"I'm sorry, I just really like you and..." He trails off.

"Huh, like you have a chance with me? You're still in School and I just graduated and I can't believe you thought I would show up at the stupid prom as you're date!" This doesn't seem to be going well...

While Luke is getting laid into by Seraphina, Devin finishes his late night workout and wonders where Luke has got to, he hasn't seen him all day! He doesn't know whether go and see where he is, but he might still be in a mood and he doesn't want to be on the receiving end of that! In the end, he goes off to bed to snuggle his pregnant wife.

That doesn't last long though, as Teya wakes up quite soon with extreme pains in her stomach, the baby is coming!!

Devin has a little freakout moment!

But he calms himself down and asks if she wants to get going to the hospital. "I don't think we have time! Puff Puff, the baby is coming now!" She screams.

Just at that moment, Luke saunters back in the door feeling dejected. His meeting with Seraphina didn't go too well and he was out late! He quickly goes to his room to avoid his nagging parents!

Unbeknownst to him, Teya has just given birth to his baby Sister!

"Say hello to the world, Lucy."

This Time It's Happy

Welcome back to my blog! So last night Teya found out that she is pregnant! Let's see how she breaks the news to Devin...

Teya enters the living room in the morning and prepares to tell Devin the good news... She has some fears about telling Devin, because of how Deyton reacted last time she was pregnant. She figures that Devin will just have to accept that she is pregnant, and secretly hopes he will feel as happy as she does about it...

"Honey, I'm pregnant..." She blurts out, before even saying good morning!

"Really? I'm gonna be a father?" Devin shouts, a big grin spreading across his face.

"OH MY GOD!! You will have to help me out, I've never taken care of a baby before!" Devin babbles excitedly. "We will do it together." Teya says, smiling warmly. She is so glad that Devin is excited, but why wouldn't he be?? Her bad experience with Luke's father had left her paranoid and now she can finally relax with the knowledge that this is a child who will be loved by both parents.

After a lot of kisses and hugs, Teya heads out to complete another Opportunity, she has to hand over a cheque for her charity which takes place at the local school. By completing this opp, she gets 1000 Celebrity points! That's quite a lot!!!

When Teya returns home she sees Luke trying to ring that girl again! "Who is this mystery girl who you're so in love with?" Teya jokes as she walks in.

"Mom! I'm not in love with her! I just don't want to settle for someone my own age!" He says, annoyed.

"Just how old is she?" Teya asks, shocked.

But she doesn't get a response, because the mystery girl must have picked up the phone and he shushes his mother out of the room! Rude!

While Teya is cooking tea, she talks to Devin about Luke's plan's for this evening: "Have you heard him on the phone? Trying to chat up some girl, who I thought went to his school, but he just said she was older than him!".

"I wouldn't worry about it, at least he hasn't got a different girl every week! And isn't it Prom tonight?" Devin asks.

"Hmmm, wonder how that will go?" Teya mutters as she stirs the spaghetti.

Well, Luke is all ready to go to the prom, and looking very happy with himself...

...He has even rented a Limo out for the occasion! Teya and Devin will just have to wait and find out what happens when he gets back! They spend the night watching TV together and Devin is a bit upset about the scary movie Teya puts on!!

Just as they are finishing their tea, Luke storms into the kitchen. "How did it go son?" Teya asks.

"I won Prom King!" He snorts, not looking very happy.

"Wait, isn't that a good thing?" Teya asks, confused.

"Not when your date doesn't turn up!" He shouts and slams the kitchen door shut.

"Moody teenagers!" Devin smiles at Teya, silently conveying that they have all of this to come again with their new baby! Read my next post to find out what happens next!!

Generation Two

Since Teya is pregnant with the Heir (She only rolled two children) I have decided to pre-roll my choices for the next Generation Challenge.

This is the exciting part where I learn what direction the next heir will be taking!!

So here's goes the first Roll!! This roll determines what the family structure will consist of: I got a 21 which is a couple!! Awesome, a nice easy family structure; meet someone and stay with them forever!

So the next Roll is to see how many kids the new heir will be having... Please be low... It's a 10!! Noo!!!!! That means five kids!! Arrggghhh!!

Roll three... Is a 19, which means my heir will be pursuing a profession, again.

My fourth Roll is an 8, which is a duplicate of Teya's career in the movies - directing branch!! According to the rules I am allowed a re-roll. Check the rules out here: So I re-roll and it's an 11, a vocalist. Ok then, why is this family all into show business???

I roll again for the secondary income and get a 10, profession again?? Which profession this time?? I get a 7 which is the movies career again, acting branch. Since I technically didn't roll this one for Devin, I have to accept it!! This family is going to be very Showbiz, and five kids!! I dread to think what will happen??

Roll Seven, and probably the most important Roll, the Generation Goal: it comes up 17!! Oh no, I wanted to avoid this one!! It's photogenic, which means I have to make 5 portraits of the heir and place them in the house-hold. But not only that!! I also have to have images (these can be paintings, photographs or sculptures) of all of the heir's children and their partner!! This will be tricky!!

And last but not least, the miscellaneous fun: I get a 6... Homemade, which means all meals must be cooked, no quick meals. They can only cook with ingredients they have in the fridge also, they have to harvest their own veggies and fish their own fish!! They can't eat birthday cake/wedding cake or raw ingredients! They can purchase eggs, milk and cheese from the store... Wow that misc 'fun' part will be annoying!

Anyway, that's the way the dice rolls. Now we have the basic structure of my heir's family life and career, they just have to be born now!! Read my next post to see who the new addition is going to be!!!

Good News!

Hello and welcome back to my blog, let's catch up with Teya...

Well, she has been working hard on her writing skills to enhance her job performance.

Devin is eating some leftover birthday cake for breakfast, very healthy!

Teya and Devin head into work together, the first day back after their honeymoon period! Hope it goes well!

A short while later, Luke has returned home from school and with no part-time job to distract him from his studies, he gets down to work.

It's Wednesday, and Luke still hasn't got a date for the prom!! It wouldn't be that hard for him to get a date, most of the girls like him at school, but he is aiming high. Luke rings up the most popular girl in school and starts chatting...

When Teya gets home from work,, she asks Luke the all important question: "So have you got a date for the Prom yet?" She asks pulling some more leftover cake out of the fridge. I think someone needs to go and get some groceries... "Not yet." Is the grunted answer.

Devin gets back from work and they spend the night cuddling and kissing, how sweet!

In the morning Luke rushes out to school early, and shouts that his toilet has broken, again!

Teya has burnt the Waffles... She remembers all the times when Deyton burnt the waffles and how they laughed... But she breathes deeply and thinks of how happy she is now with her little family.

When Devin wakes up he attempts to fix Luke's toilet.

And Teya has to quickly run off to the bathroom to throw up!! It must have been the burnt waffles she had for breakfast!

Devin does a morning work out in front of the TV, he wants to impress his boss by improving his physique - the acting career is very shallow.

Uh Oh!! Looks like the TV is now broken too!

Later on in the day, Teya leaves work and is informed that she has been promoted again!! She is now a 2nd Unit Director, she seems quite happy!! Teya's agent also rings her and announces that she has won a Sim's Choice Award!! Well done Teya!!

She goes directly from work to pick it up!!

Back at home, Luke is still working on his prom date!!

After stopping by the grocery store, Teya heads home with her shiny new Award!!

Devin repairs the TV when he gets home... How exciting is Sims?? The family go to bed, with Luke not having a date still and the TV now fully repaired...

Teya wakes up in the middle of the night, starving, and realises that she is pregnant!! What brilliant news!!

She raids the fridge for some birthday cake to celebrate!! Teya's family is expanding yet again!! How will this new addition affect family life?? Find out in my next post!
