Generation One Challenge: Completed

Welcome back to my Sims 3 Blog, in this post the Generation Goal gets completed which was Property Mogul - buy or be partner to 3 businesses. Just thought I would give you all a refresh...

Anyway, Teya is working hard on her writing skills for the Directing career, but she was never that good at writing anyway and it's getting harder and harder to get a promotion!! She has accumulated a lot of cash recently, so she decides to buy a property. She purchases Performance Park for 21,000 Simoleons and by doing that completes her Generation goal!! Wahey!!

While she's at it, she decides to check out the other businesses that she is partnered to, the Flying V's Coffee house and the diner. Teya has to upgrade her new park quite a bit before it can open for business, but she takes care of it and also renames it Silver Park (after the family name).

Meanwhile, Lucy works on her Charisma as she thinks this will help her to make new friends in High School.

Teya and Devin are always at work because of their demanding careers, so they love spending as much time together as they can!

Autumn's finally here, and it's Lucy's first day of High School!

And she get's soaked as soon as she steps out of the front door!

While Lucy is at school, Teya uploads some pictures that she has taken into the digital photo frames. There are 3 pictures of Lucy so far (the photogenic challenge is already getting completed and the new heir hasn't even taken over yet!) and a few pictures of their holiday to go in Teya and Devin's bedroom!

Lucy is back from school and doing her homework...

"So how did it go at School today?" Devin asks his daughter.

"Urgh, it was ok I suppose, but there's a Prom on Tuesday night and I don't know anyone yet!" She exasperates.

"Well, just because there's a Prom, doesn't mean you have to get a date... With a boy... In fact you shouldn't even be thinking about boys yet!" Devin is getting tongue tied!

"Ew! As if!" She squeals and gets back to her homework.

Well, the next day the weather isn't any better but Lucy goes off to school hoping to make at least one new friend before the Prom!!

Teya's hard work finally pays off and she gets promoted to Assistant Director!! Nice new outfit to wear to work and an award for her contributions to some of the highest grossing film to be made in the last four years!!

It's a Green Orb award, and a new side table is needed to display the award in the living room!

How dark is it today? It is actually the middle of the day, and guess what? It's Prom night!! Lucy has been on a field trip to the local Restaurant today and hopes she has made an impression on the other teenagers.

Well, with no more time left to get a date or make a friend, Lucy gets dressed for the Prom and makes her way to the Limo that was hired for her big night!

And all the parents can do is sit back and wait to hear about the night when she gets back... Read my next post to hear how it went!

Growing up fast

Welcome back! It's Luct's birthday today! Let's she what she gets up to...

Once again, she doesn't look very happy, even though she gets everything she wants! What a Diva!

It's off to school for Lucy, she did beg to have the day off but Teya wasn't having any of it!

Teya and Devin spend some quality time together while Lucy is at school.

Teya gives Luke a ring to see how he's doing.

Lucy is back from school and she still doesn't look happy, she wants her birthday cake, now!

And here it is!!

Why does she never look happy?

Well, here is Lucy as a teenager... She still doesn't look impressed!

Time for bed!!

Teya and Devin are still very much in love! Their bank account is up to $25,000 now! I hadn't checked it in a while, I guess they are saving their money to give to Lucy when she gets older and wants her own place.

The next morning Lucy finishes the painting she started earlier.

A while later, a surprise guest turns up, it's Lucy's half brother Luke!

They do some catching up, and Luke can't believe how grown up Lucy is now, he remembers her as a baby in diapers!

They are getting on well, Lucy thinks her older brother is quite cool, he even has his own car!

The whole family sits down for a chat and Teya asks Luke if he has seen his father recently. The answer is no, of course.

After Luke's visit, Teya decides to teach Lucy how to drive. I say decided, but Lucy wouldn't shut up about getting her own car after talking with Luke and Teya didn't really have a choice.

They are back from driving and Lucy can't wait to go again!

"So does this mean I can get my own car when I pass?" Asks Lucy.

"Well if you get all A's in school then I will think about it..." Teya replies.

"That means yes!" She screams and gobbles down her food.

When It Rains, It Pours!!

Welcome back to my Sims 3 blog!! You may have noticed that I didn't post anything over the Christmas period, it was a very busy time!! A new addition has been made to my game: The Sims 3 Seasons (finally). So I hope you like the added weather effects as much as I do, lets continue...

Well, time has just flown by with Lucy being a child! She's six going on sixteen at the moment! Teya and Devin are astonished at how strong her personality is!!

She's always making new friends! Lucy spends her time painting, chatting to friends online, dancing to the latest music and generally acting like she's already a teenager!

"Just what are we going to do with her?" Teya asks Devin one night. "I have no idea hun, but she's confident I'll give her that!".

Even though Lucy likes to act grown up, she still wants daddy to read her a bedtime story!

"Goodnight my little star..." Devin says as he tucks her into bed.

Well, it's Summertime! And Leisure day has just begun! Lucy begs Devin to take her to the Summer Fair, but Devin has to record a Commercial for one of his acting roles today.

Since Teya has the day off from work, she agrees to take Lucy to the fair and Devin will meet up with them later to have fun in the lovely Summer sunshine!

It seems to be a really nice sunny day today, and Teya and Lucy are doing some skating at the Summer Fair!

Lucy is a bit wobbly at first... But she soon gets the hang of it!

As they are skating, it starts raining!! Oh dear!! But Lucy doesn't want to go home yet,as she wanted to get her face painted before leaving!

So Teya waits outside in the rain while Lucy gets her face painted!

Teya thinks that it's time to get home and out of the rain.

And even though Lucy got her face painted, she is still unhappy that they had to leave the fair early!

When Lucy has gone off to bed, Teya and Devin catch up on some tasks that need doing like working out and fixing stuff! Time to get ready for Lucy's birthday tomorrow, wow that went fast!
